Meet Sharon Burdette, Owner and Lead Designer

 

Hi, my name is Sharon Burdette and I am the owner and lead designer of UniqueCraftique.

 

I grew up in NJ and from a young age I have been involved in many types of arts and crafts. My focus in college was commercial art and advertising because I enjoyed the clean, precise designs that come from the graphic arts. Over the years, some of my passions have been sewing, crocheting, counted cross stitch and hand-built one-of-a-kind ceramics.

 

I now enjoy designing my class projects with an emphasis on paper and related products, and with the world of decorative papers, embellishments, and mix mediums becoming more and more diverse I feel there is no limit to what I can create and you can enjoy making.

 

I keep my designs exciting by incorporating the techniques and products from the world of "Altered Arts", where there are no rules or limits. You really are only limited by your imagination. Coming from a mind set of precise details in design, it is a welcomed challenge to let the "anything goes" attitude take over, and it shows in what I teach.

 

Join me at the Altered Club gatherings at Stamp and Deliver in South Daytona, Florida to expand and explore the far reaches of your imagination. The Club meets on the first Thursday of every month. Or take one of my classes by visiting or calling the store to sign up.
